1. Summary

The extension does not collect, transmit, store, or sell any user data. Everything it does happens locally in your browser.

2. What the Extension Does

When you click "Export as PDF" or "Export as Word" on a ChatGPT conversation, the extension:

  1. Reads the conversation you are viewing (from ChatGPT's own API using your existing login session, or from the page content).
  2. Downloads the images that belong to that conversation, exactly as your browser already does to display them.
  3. Generates the PDF/DOCX file locally on your device and saves it via your browser's normal download mechanism.

The conversation text and images are processed in memory only, never written anywhere except the file you download, and never sent to any server operated by us or anyone else.

3. What the Extension Stores

Only your export preferences (page size, PDF theme, spacing, filename pattern), saved with Chrome's extension storage (chrome.storage.sync) so they follow your Chrome profile. No conversation content is ever stored.

4. What the Extension Collects

Nothing. There are no analytics, no telemetry, no error reporting, no cookies, and no accounts.

5. Permissions Explained

  • Access to chatgpt.com / chat.openai.com: Show the export button on ChatGPT pages and read the conversation you choose to export.
  • Access to oaiusercontent.com: Download the images inside your conversation so they can be embedded in the document.
  • storage: Remember your export settings.
  • downloads: Save the generated PDF/DOCX with the filename you configured.
  • offscreen: Generate the document in a background context so the ChatGPT tab never freezes.

6. Children's Privacy

The extension is not directed at children under 13 years of age and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
